Talk to Hotmustang331, he did the drilling thing to his bucket, I think i remember him having pics and a write up on how to do it too. He just went twin turbo and is putting down like 460hp and his setup is holding up for him so i'm sure it would work for you too. I was thinking about doing that before i found a Cobra tank/pump for cheap.
