03 cobra question

just bought a 03 cobra, wantd to put on headers and h-pipe, what does this intale and about how long does it take. i also asked a shop they said the same, told me about $800 to do the job...is that sound right? thanks

I'm not sure how long it takes to install headers on a Cobra. But there are many knowledgable people in here that can answer any question you have on your new Cobra

Headers can take anywhere from 6 to 12 hours depending on the method used, the brand/type of header, and the experience level of the installers. If they drop the K-member the job can be done by the average gear head in about 8 hours.

P.S. You do know that headers are not the best "Bang-for-the-buck" modification for these cars right? Plenty of 500-600RWHP Cobra's running around with the STOCK exhaust logs.
