I'm looking at a 03 cobra that currently has these mods..... 2.8 MotoBlue Blower pulley, Bassani Stainless Steel X-Haust X-Pipe with hi-flow converters, Bassani Stainless Steel X-Haust, Mac Straight Shot 95mm MAS system, K&N cold air filter system, Accufab 1694 cfm polished throttle body, and power inlet pipe, MotoBlue GenII Billet idler/under-drive pulleys, and a Diablo Sport Predator programmer....What kind of RWHP/RWTQ do you think it's making?
I currently have an 01 with a vortech putting down 440RWHP/385RWTQ on 9lbs boost, how would mine compare and which would you rather have?

I'd say about 460hp and 450tq at the wheels. This is just an average of what I have seen. You car will feel like a dog on the street next to the Cobra in all respects. I had an 01 GT with a KB on it. Stepped up to the cobra, and never looked back!

Even though mine is an 01 vortech supercharged cobra, it will still feel like a dog compared to the 03 im talking about?

I thought you had a GT, sorry man. But yes, the 03/04 are animals of a different breed. You'll be WAAY above the performance level you are at now with plenty of room to grow. If you can afford it with no problems jump on it!

No problem. Look at it this way, you have an Iron block, awesome crank, forged rods and pistons, better tranny, better IRS, better gears with the terminator........need I keep on going?

Well mines actually a built motor and I recently installed a TKO500 and have 3:73 rear gears. How is the IRS and gears better on the 03, and i thought the cobras had alluminum blocks? Or is it still a completly different animal?

The 03/04's have 3.55 gears, but thats perfect with the roots blower. The T-56 is a stout tranny, and the 6th gear is nice in the highway. The IRS is alot beefier, thicker halfshafts and suck. And yes, the cobra did have aluminum block until 03, when then switched to Iron.

That 03 is going to feel completely different compared to your 01. The powerband between the Eaton and Vortech is night and day. Although the 03 only has a few more HP over your 01 that torque will make you a believer! Plus like Dan said with the 03 you've got room to grow.

First thing I'd do if I bought this car would be to get it on a dyno and check the A/F ratio! Hopefully the previous owner has a custom tune stored in that Predator programmer because the 95MM MAC straight-Shot MAF system is a piece of junk and most tuners do not care for it at all. There is NO NEED FOR A LARGER DIAMETER REPLACEMENT MAF ON 03/04 COBRAS! The stock MAF is good until almost 500RWHP.

Yeah that would be awesome, if only I could afford to do that.
