03 Cobra Transmission Problem

My stock 03 Cobra seems to have lost the lockout on the transmission. For example, accelerating to freeway speed when I go for fifth it will easily skip over to reverse, and going for sixth it goes all the way over to where there's no gear below R. Anyone else had this issue??

First I've heard of that with the Cobra's T56. Are you still running the stock shifter?

Yes, totally bone stock.

Sounds like you are having a problem with your reverse lockout solenoid. The PCM controls it as it uses vehicle speed as the input on when to turn the solenoid on and off.
