I want to buy a bassani x pipe for my 03 cobra but I just had a question their being sold on ebay with cats and without cats can I just buy the pipe without cats and will it hook up to the factory equip or do i have to buy the x pipe with cats and etc.

You can buy one that doesn't come with cats which is commonly known as an "O/R" x-pipe. O/R stands for "Off Road" because it's technically illegal to use a mid pipe without cats on a street car. It will bolt right up as a replacement for the catted H-pipe that comes on the Cobra from the factory. Keep in mind you will also need either a set of MIL eliminators or have the O2 sensors turned off in the tune if you go without cats.<?***:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o> <o></o> U.M.<o></o>
bassani makes an x-pipe that comes with removable cats so you are basically getting an off-road x-pipe and a high flow cat x-pipe all in one...got mine for about $389 from GTR....its very nice
