I have a 03 GT with Power+Plus Typhoon Intake, upper plenum, 75mm TB and CAI. I also have a diablo tuner with the performance tune installed. Also Accel coil packs.

My question is that I researched the stock rwhp for my car is about 225-230. I recently had my car on a mobile dyno and layed down 251 rwhp. Maybe it's just me but I would think with the tuner and the other mods I would have more than this? I'm thinking that a stock GT doesn't really put down 225 like I've been seeing?

Auto or manual? Auto's use a little more hp to operate than a manual. Do you have any exhaust mods? That hp is probably pretty close depending on what type of dyno was used.

5-speed. only exhaust mod are the Flows the man who owned the car before me put on. I called a performance shop near me and schedule a dyno time to get more input

your numbers are about average for your mods, the intake mods arent going to yeild more than 20rwhp

First of all the Typhoon intake is ok, but being that your car is n/a and no force induction you're not going to see much of a gain from it. Maybe 5-10rwhp...

The cold air intake is pretty much worthless, no offense, but it really doesnt pick up more than 2-5rwhp

The plenum/TB combo maybe 10rwhp...

As far as the Accel packs I wouldnt think youd gain much hp without a blower...maybe 5hp

So seeing as how your car dyno's stock at around 225, you have no exhaust mods (flowmasters actually flow worse than stock mufflers), your right on par.

You should consider a midpipe, that would help you pick up an extra 10hp maybe depending if you go o/r or not

I would say your numbers are right on. Prior to installing my KB SC I was at 246/278 with all the mods. om the sig minus the KB stuff.

Mobile dyno's are a crap shoot at the best of times. Get it done at a reputable shop. It will be way more accurate.

A custom dyno tune might yeild higher numbers than a plug and play tune

I was dissapointed with almost all my NA mods. Then I got a blower. I highly recommend skipping the NA stuff and going FI. Just the personal lesson I learned from modding my car.

^+1 The only mods I was really happy with N/A were my O/R Dr gas X pipe, BBK LTs headers, and my VT stg 1 cams. They each made a big difference in performance that I could feel.

But they come NOWHERE close to what the turbos did for the power. But remember, most iof the N/A mods will only magnify when you get a blower.

You should definetly get it dyno tuned. You get some power from the performance tune in the Predator but a good tuner that knows what he's doing can get more out of it on the dyno. Also. Different dynos will read differently.

As far as the numbers, it's not too far off in my opinion.

My car:

75mm P&TB
CAI
Mid Length Headers
OR X Pipe
2 1/2" Cat back
160* thermostat
Pullies
3.73s
Predator - Dyno tuned.

93 octane tune
= 272 RWHP & 312 TQ.
