heres what i have so far.
hooked tach and tach adapter to ground and to 12 volts. hooked up signal wire to coiil pack. go to start and nothing. car just turns over, gauges do not read and the odometer is just a series of lines. fuel pump does not seem to be coming on either. checked all fuses and all are good. checked cutoff switch in trunk, was fine. did i fry my computer? trip the pats? or hopefully mabey just blew some relays? please somebody help i need my car back on the road asap.

This happened when you hooked up the tach? Maybe ignition voltage got into the 12V lead somehow. That would have been bad for the computer.

When you turn the key to 'ON' (not start), you don't get the dash gauges/lights, and the pump doesn't come on? Might be the computer with that many things affected. I'm not sure, but I think pats just prevents ignition- everything else works and the 'theft' light flashes.

thats what i thought. if you let it sit with the key in it for about a minute the gas and volt gauges work and the the odometer comes on but it is just lines out. my theft light doesn't work bulb went out a while ago. can i swap computers out with out getting anything programed?
