04 cobra brakes on 94

The preferred method is to do the master cylinder, too. I didn't and they work great.

Fit well, I've installed a few sets, none with the M/C. All work exceptionally.

This is a must have mod for every street car!

Get a 94-95 Cobra master too. I had 94-945 Cobra brakes on my 95GT and they sucked, because I didn't use the Cobra master cylinder. I almost wrecked the car because it wouldn't stop.

Never heard of that problem before, so maybe something else was going on or the stock master went bad.


I kept the stock GT master cylinder, largely because so many people on here said it worked great for them and provided much better pedal feel. My experience: perfect pedal feel, 200% better braking (actually safe now), and no issues in 2 years.

The Cobra m/c will make the pedal a bit soft, but it will work of course.

The ABS system still operates as intended. I've been in a couple situations where the ABS system was needed and it operated as expected. We don't have the best or ideal ABS system, but it is better than nothing.
