04 cobra problem

i recently bought an 04 cobra ive had it about 2 weeks any the car bucks and boggs at speed under a load. i can be in 6 gear and try to accelerate and the car bucks it acts like its in to high of a gear or something and i need to down shif but under normal acceleration i should not have to. not sure what to do the car is stock no mods 18000 miles.

Bone stock? Did you purchase it from a private seller of from a dealer and/or lot? From the symptoms you state it sounds a lot like a bad FRPS. Of course there are other reasons that can cause this behavior, but a bad FRPS is one of the most common.

Gee, thanks for giving us a chance to help the guy out. Why don't you head over to the 4.6 forums and see if you can't run a few of those guys off too!
