How much would it cost (not including the motor price) to swap my '04 Mustang with a 04 Cobra S/C Engine...? Doesn't have to be exact...just est...to get it dropped in/up & running normal...

Including labor: $400-$900 WITHOUT cost of engine, and so far the cheapest that I've seen the 03+ 4V engine go for was $12K

You can grab one of those for around anywhere between 9-12K. There may be a few cheaper out there of course. Just look in a FRPP catalogue. You're best bet is a take out/parts car....good luck

Whats in your car now?

This may be a BIG undertaking.

karkraft.com has motors cheaper than FRPP.

If you are going from V6 to V8 it may not be worth it. It will cost your more than your car will ever be worth.

Get more opinions though!

Good luck

why don't you just build a forged shortblock and buy a nice blower and make more HP than the Cobra motor does stock and still have money left over?
