Actually, the fastest and baddest mustang ever was a 2000 cobra R. They compared them in 5.0 magazine a while back, and the cobra R beat the 03 in the 1/4 mile. The handling was far superior in the cobra R compared to the 03. If I had to choose, I would go with the 2000 cobra R as the best mustang ever built, period.

It's true. 00 Cobra R > 03/04 Cobra.

The Cobra R was meant to take on the (then) upcoming Z06. The 03 Cobra was meant to spit on the grave of the Camaro. They are very different cars.

Also, if you think your Cobra pulls .95g on a skidpad and does over 70mph in a slalom, well...heh. Try .85g and 64mph.
