Guys, I'm smack in the middle of this NPI to PI engine swap and hoping to get this finished up this weekend. I bought a 60k 04' PI engine, intake to oil pan and at this point I am swapping over the old NPI front cover and oil pan and oil filter/cooler. The CV oil pan's sump looks smaller, not to mention it does not have the 96-98 low oil level sensor and it looks to be slightly different shape wise. I removed it tonight and after looking at the oil pump pickup the thought occurred to me that I will have to reuse the tube from my old NPI engine. I figured I would throw this thread out and see if there is anyone else out there that might have done a similar swap and could verify this. I have both motors on engine stands side by side and the mustang NPI engines pickup def looks different.

That was my plan. Originally I was going to use the vic pan and deal without a low oil level light but I realized that the pans are very much different in size and was worried about the x-member.
