Does anyone know if the factory disc pads are ceramic? Mine make very little brake dust, so I was wondering what type of material is used. I am assuming Ceramic.
I was wondering the same thing. They have to be, no brake dust whatsoever even after 2 weeks of no washing. My wifes 02 Expedition has semi-met and gets brake dust after a week of driving. Of course it uses a lot more brake pad getting that barge to stop.
