04 GT people...

I've heard that the 04 GT's are offered with a 3.55:1 gear
ratio option. Is this true? and If so, is it offered on the auto and
5 speed both? Thanks.

i think only the autos got 3.55s. the mach come standard w/ 3.55s

I have an 04 GT 5spd and my RPMs are low in 5th...lower than my dads 00V6 5spd...at around 1600-1700 @ 65MPH.If someone with an auto 04 GT runs the 1/4 in a better than the 03 auto GTs, and if 2 different people, one with an 03 auto and the other with an 04 auto and compare RPMs in O/D @ 65MPH and then we will know for sure.

No, only the autos come with 3.55's. There isnt an option for the 5 speeds. It's 3.27's or nothin

How come the 5 speeds don't come with a 3:55 gear? I know a person who got the 3:55 option in his 2000 GT. I'm sure you can get the 3:55 option in the '04 model GT 5 speed. Maybe you have custom order it?
