04 Mustang Exhaust Question

I am sure this question has been asked dozens of times, but the search function was making me mad.

Question 1:
I am installing a Mac O/R H-Pipe, and I bought MIL eliminators, but do I still need to buy the $40 extensions? Is there a way around this besides buying a tuner/extensions?

Question 2:
I have the old pipe off the car. Now I need to get the driver's side bolts off to install on the new one, but I can't seem to get them off with locking pliers on one side and a socket on the other. Do I have to buy new bolts & hardware from Ford?

The 04 GTs require the extensions. It is the only year that Ford moved the O2 sensors further back. Dont know why they did it but I had to get the extensions when I did my X-pipe.

Dont know bout the hardware question though.
