'05 front end on an '02 GT

I dont know for sure, but i'm assuming the 05 chassis is different from the 02 right? I'm thinking my '02 GT would look sick with an '05 front end but i'm assuming it'd take alot of fabrication. What do you guys think?

Don't do it. If you want an '05 get an '05. It's cheaper. And you won't get made fun of from other people. "How come you didn't get a 2005?". That's all you would hear if you did it.

well actually, this is my first domestic car. I know nothing about this platform. I'm more accustomed to my Twin Turbo Stealth. Thanks for the reply though.

actually the only domestic thing about it is the name. The chassis and motor are made in japan. It's a 3000GT simply rebadged with a slight performance cripple.

Check out http://www.puremustangperformance.com/ they released a full body kit for 99-04 to convert to 05 look...

I like the PMP kit wonder what the price will be? I think the 99+ with 05 front looks better than the 05.

I think it looks better than the 05 does..The rear and side profile of the 05 kills me!

the door wings gotta go. that i dont like.
my concern on that kit is how much drag is any does it create? would it benefit anything at all other than looks?(which its interesting)

That kit has cost around 3K. New hood, fenders, bumper, lights, grille, rear bumper, side skirts..
A neat idea though.

For sure I prefer the 99-04 dash board, the 05 sucks. Gauges are old style and to deep, the passenger can't even take a look at your speed
A 99-05 with 05 body kit, you get best of both worlds New body style with a decent dash board
