I'm installing an engine out of a wrecked 2005 into a custom 1969 f-100.
Does anyone know if it is possible to delete the coded key in the computer ??
And if so how to go about it ??

Ouch.. good luck with this. That a lot of retrofitting you are doing. I don't know about the code key... but what about the other Emission systems and checks?

Curious how thats going to work... maybe you should try to run the engine with and aftermarket EFI system... but I think the variable cam timing would not have an acess feature.

it will not be hard at all .. the hardest thing you will need to do is wirign up the efi.

a custom tune can turn off the PATS system on the key

as far as emisions .. just turn it off in the tune as well you can turn off 02's in the computer.
the egr etc can all be turned off in the computer.
