05 Mustang skips horribly and cuts off at idle, and sometimes will not restart. Sometimes it goes into failsafe mode, other times it runs just as bad and does not give a failsafe code. I checked the DTC codes with my programer and came up with 2104,2112,2107. If the car is cool it will run completely normal for about 3-4 miles( normal operating temp) then it starts skipping mildly and quickly progresses into this horrible skipping and jerking the drivetrain. It will usually cut off when you slow down to stop. Sometimes it will start back up, other times the starter will not even engage. You just hear a relay click in and out then the dash will display fuel level low,DTE ODO DATA ERR,check charge system, check trac control, and at this time traction control light will remain on even when you press button on and off. When this is going on, my SCT X3 tuner wil display,"Unable to read DTC's".Anyone have an idea what my be wrong, I am just before taking it to the dealer. Oh, and one more thing, I just replace the throttle body ,TB drive motor, and TPS today.Battery voltage off is 12.4 v and 14.2 at idle.

I replaced my factory throttle body because it had the first two codes and all of the problems listed. I ordered a used ford throttle body off of Ebay from a speed shop that said it was a takeoff from a 2006 gt with only 10 miles on it. And judging from the way it looks I think that they were accurate, it looks like new. It included TPS and TB drive motor. But this did not help my problem at all. It gave the 2107 code after the replacement. When I say skipping, I mean misfiring, just like one would do if you had a couple of bad plugs or coils. My car is still undriveable. I',m still looking for ideas.

For any one interested, I got my car back up and running Friday night. I had a Ford Mechanic come over and Flash the used PCM that I bought from a junk yard . After doing all the reprogramming, we cranked it up and it is running perfect.
