I was just playing around with the 05 in photoshop, made the wheels bigger, gave it a cowl, moved the foglights, shortened the rear quarter, modified the spoiler, and gave the rear quarter a little more style more like the 60's stangs, they are all subtle differences, but i think it looks good. What do you all think?

EDIT: if anyone knows how to view the picture bigger, i have a much much larger pic

Another effort, bigger wheels, cowl hood, new lower front fascia, wider rear tires, lowered, and the thing i think the new stang needed was a little bulge behind the doors on the rear quarters like the fastbacks of the 60's early 70's. I dont think it will be very hard for companies like saleen/steeda/ect to really make this car look mean, heck just suspension work and some torque thrusts or bullitt deep-dishes will make it sweet.

I think Ford purposely made the new Mustang kinda tame. Leaves plenty of room for styling changes in the future.
I like the broad-shoulderd look.

Bro.

Where were you when Saleen designed the 05 S281????
I think it looks like ass compared to your photochop above. If the 05 Saleen looked like your rendering I would go get an equityline on the house to buy one. Because it looks like hell, I will have money to buy my wife gifts for Christmas. Keep up the good work and e-mail that thing to someone at Saleen. I think I'm in the position to sling a little crap. I have owned 4 Saleen Mustangs so far, sold two, own two now a very loyal Saleen customer and I'm still unhappy with what's going on over there.

I actually like the first above front fascia that resembles a 98 cobra front fascia. I think thats not bad but would need a front pic to really see if it matches.

I would like to get a lower front fascia like those chops or put fogs on my bottom grill for my V-6.
That way I dont look like I am trying to make my V-6 a GT wannabe.

Love the kick-up on the 1/4 panel! I wish all the '05s looked like that!

I like the shorter rear. the rear bothers me a lot in 05 style.

I can only hope!!! Actually im going to school for Art Technology and am hoping to get into the Automotive Design field. I would love to be working for ford designing cars (or chevy or whoever for that fact) my dream has always been to be on the mustang design team. If that were to come true... you guys would get all the stangs youve been asking for
