@96? I hope he was a terrible driver. My old 97 TA WS6 @3800 lbs did 102 mph.

My little 93 coupe still cant be beat

Do the math. The 2005 GT coupe weighs 3444. It definitely has 300 or more bhp, Ford will never again overrate a Mustang. So it is going to do slightly better than a 260 bhp 2004 Mustang GT, no matter how you look at it. As for the 14.2 @ 96 ... anybody can drive crappy, that takes no skill.

I hope that it does better than a 14.2 @ 96mph my 2000 GT ran a 14.34 @ 100.9 mph with nothing more than the air filter pulled out of the airbox. lately I can do no better than a 14.4 @ 97mph but that is still faster I guess I was thinking it would close to the mach 1 with only 5 hp less

yeah, probably didn't push it too hard seriously, would you if it was that new? definetly after broken in though

actually I would had not even changed the oil on my 93 before it was getting beat on at woodburn on the 2000 actualy waited till the first oil change in fact changed the oil and the next day raced but that is me

Rode in a silver 05 (V6) a few weeks back. The 6 definately feels better than previous models and surprisingly had room for two six foot guys to sit passenger front/passenger rear and both have ample head/leg room. Can't wait to try out the GT-
