06 gt in the 11s

It's going to take weight reduction, cam and ported heads along with a lot of bolt ons.

What is "mostly motor". If that means a little nitrous then it will be a whole lot easier.

I'm not sure if you can hit 11s on motor. Some serious weight reduction + rollcage + 5pt harness will need to be installed including every bolt on you can think of along with a 150-175 shot and some super glue-like sticky rubber and MAAAAAYBE do high 11s.

Most tracks require a reinforcements + harness if you start doing 11s and major restrictions apply, so check your local track.

a blower and some sticky tires heh

thats realy all you need .. 10 psi from any of the available blowers plus sticky rear tires and a custom tune and you should be able to sneak into the 11's

if you wana go all motor its gona require some wieght reduction.

Wow, for that $ amount, I'd go for a blower and have it streetable. Nothing against Justin and his company. I have boucoup respect for what he's done for the Mustang scene.
yeah, but it does include wheels and tires. take that out and its a little better. boost is the better bang for the buck vs. N/A motors. it would cost the same amount as a blower to get to 400 RWHP.

Justin Birchum has this kit for sale to get the 05-06 gt's into the 11's

Does this kit also come with his driving skills? Most people who install this will probably be in the 12's. I find it amazing that he did it by mostly suspension and tire mods. It shows the potential of these cars without even breaking into the motor to reach 11's.

just get all the bolt-on's (longtubes, cmrc's, pulleys, driveshaft, cai, good tune), >/=4.10's, cams, heads, & SLICKS. I bet that'll get the job done EASILY. Hell, it's very likely already been done by a common guy (not a shop owner like Justin) and I just haven't heard about it. I personally know of a couple guys that are running 12.30's WITHOUT heads/cams but they've taken out a couple hundred pounds from the car.
