Just picked up my new 06 GT this weekend!!! I ordered it back in June so I could get everything that I wanted. I had the stripes put on aftermarket and I decided against the chrome bullet wheels, because once I saw the stock ones with the Satin Silver I thought it kept the "vintage" look to it...anyway, I am absolutely thrilled with how well it performs! I've been reading these posts for about a year now and it has absolutely killed me to see everyone getting their stangs and not waiting for me to get mine

Congrats! Great color combo with those wheels; that's what I intended to do too but went with blue at the last moment. Anyway, again congrats!

Shooterm 1..I went with the Red Leather upgrade package...I'm really pleased with how soft the seats feel. I think the red looks pretty good with the silver!

Great looking car! I agree that the standard bullits give it a more vintage look. I'm still planning on ordering a Legend Lime, but a car almost exactly like yours came in to a dealer last week and I'm very tempted to buy it right off the lot. The silver w/ bullits looks sharp IMO.

Great looking stripes, I also have a 06 GT screeming Yellow with 11in stripes,
what did you pay for after market stripes?

Don, I paid $795 for the stripes....a little high, but they did an awesome job...
