I want to know if anybody out there has had any problems with their motors over heating if they are bored .060 over. For cooling i have a stock radiator, 17 inch flex fan, 180 degree thermostat, and some red line super coolant. I just want to know it that would be adequate to cool my motor.

I dont see why over-boring would present a problem with cooling. Strength on the other hand.....

How hot does it get? Stock gauge? I don't know if it would make a drastic change but I think the 18" Flex Fan/2" spacer is the correct application for a 5.0 Mustang. That's what I have. And I have measured the stock plastic fan in comparison and it was 18" as well. How is the stock radiator??? Is it the original??? That may be your problem.

That flex fan doesnt draw nearly as much air as a stock fan. So if the engine does for some mechanical reaso run hotter than a stock or .030 bore engine its not helping. Try switching back to your stock fan. If that doesnt help I would have the cooling system flushed out...you may have a clog somewhere. Also might want to think about getting a new water pump if the other 2 fail to solve your problem.
