Installed new battery and now its fine for cold start but after warming up I come to a stop and it drops to 400 - 500 RPM. Sometimes it catchs itself and ups up to normal idle and other times it dies. If I stop at a gas station and restart it will immediately rev to 2000 and back to 4 or 5 then die. Iys a manual if it helps...

You need to perform the idle relearn procedure whenever you disconnect or replace the battery. Let the engine idle from a cold start until it reaches normal operating temperature. Then turn on the AC to max for two minutes, allow the engine to idle for a further two minutes with the AC off, and you're done.
