I have, the 18" factory polished CS wheels on my 07 GT. size on them is 235 50 18. Are they wide enough for the 255-45-18's ? And will the wider tire rub in the front ?
thanks

I have 255/45/18'a on the rear and they look great, they aren't that much wider then the stock so I don't see any fitment issues with that size on the fronts.

It looks like the CS wheels are 18"x8.5". From what I've seen, this width would be acceptable for 255/45-18s.

1010 Tires has a calculator on their website http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp Enter your car as a California Special and then enter the 255/45-18's as a comparison size. It will generate a chart showing you the various measurements.

Did your car come with 18"s from the factory?

From the 2010 FRPP Catalog: 'For vehicles with 17" wheels from the factory: Installing 18"x8.5" or 18"x9.5" wheels, use Steering Stop 6R3Z-3932-CA'

I run 255/45/18 on polished OEM 18" bullitts, both front and rear. Not issues at all. Tires are BFG KDW2.

They'll fit perfect. I have the same size wheels (18 x 8.5 factory Fanblades) and have 255/45/18's all the way around with zero issues, but much improved handling (Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires)...
