Got a letter from ford today basically saying that my 07 GT warranty
changed from 3yr/36,000 to 5yr/60,000 no charge! Roadside assistance
also changed to 5yr/60,000
It did'nt say anything about any other year car just 07 ford or mercury so
Im assuming any 07 car is included.
It also gave my vin # and said to toss the old warranty info. I also got
a new warranty booklet. pretty cool watch your mail box.

yeah, actually the longer warranties started at the end of the 06 model year (around late May, early June). I just happened to by my car 2 weeks before it changed.

I was told about this warranty when I purchased the vehicle in October. However... the 5 year , 60 k mile warranty is drivetrain ONLY.

I think five year is power train only. Three years bumper to bumper.

Any Ford/Mercury vehicle sold after July 14th of 2006 comes with 3/36 bumper to bumper and 5/60 powertrain. On a mustang its costs around $700(+tax) to upgrade the 5/60 to bumper.
