08' emissions exempt?

i was just told that in MA, in 2 years all obd1 computer cars will be emissions exempt....is this true? If so i am happy!!

to think what i could do it i dident need to run the dyno every 2 years

My state just keeps adding more counties to the emissions list. I think my car has to be 20 or 25 years old to be automatically exempt.

Mo just passed a sim. law that all pre OBDII (95 or older) will be exempt starting sep. 07. Hope the trend goes nation wide for the rest of you guys.

In PA since I drive my car less than 5000 miles I'm exempt from the sniffer test. Otherwise I'd probably be in trouble.

i'm exempt only b/c i drive it less than 5k miles a year. before that it i didn't have to pass the sniffer, i just had to pass a visual inspection which was just as bad
