I want to make my V6 sound more like the factory V8. Exhaust suggestions?

Put GT mufflers on it. Buy the left side over the axle pipe and hangers. Cut the rear bumper. Chop up a factory GT H pipe to fit. Justin at VMP Tuning sells the GT mufflers.

I installed a GT take-off on my V6 that I purchased on-line for $50. (GT owners install aftermarket exhausts and sell the take-offs) I had a local muffler shop do the install. They had to bend the mounts slightly to center the tip in the fascia opening. Also the tip may stick out more than desired. I cut mine back about one inch and installed a GT stainless tip. Overall, it's great! (improved sound and less restrictive).

The FRPP kit is pretty nice, the mufflers sound pretty good but they aren't much different than GT mufflers. So, essentially you're paying a lot of money because it's a kit.

They should of just loosened up the mid pipe and twisted the piping. There's no reason to bend the hangers. As long as it looks good though.
