i'll take a stable of Ford GTs and a stable of badass Foxbodys!!! for 1.3 im happy way happier
I have seen that car in person at the Carlisle All-Ford Nationals in 2006 and it is far more impressive in person. There are certian things that I don't care for (such as the hood) but it really is pretty awesome to see up close. I am not sure who came up with that $1.3 million number, but thats obviously nuts, even if the car is pretty cool.
If i had money to flush down the toilet i'd call up Nelson Racing Engines and have him build me a turnkey 1500 hp small block.
the lemans was awesome!!! i would drive that thing everywhere i could lol..
My '84 already pukes coolant and probably wouldn't complete a lap around a road course, either. Quick! Somebody give ME $1.3M for my car!

The best part was when this car was featured in either MMFF or Hot Rod mag; The shifter jammed in gear twice, shifter computer overheated, and then to top it all off engine overheated. I can't remember which magazine it was. I found it hilarious that 1.3m can't even make it down the track once.
