Its decent. The 60' could be alot better, it has 13s in it.

Yea, get some traction and you should see a HUGE improvement. Focus on suspension first, subframe connectors, control arms, ect. After the subframe connectors, either go with drag radials or slicks. Me personally, I would never run at the track without slicks. Right after I did my 5-lug conversion and I didn't have any rims for my slicks, so I didn't even go out to the event on my drag radials. Once you drop a nasty 5k hole shot, you will never want to race on street tires again.

85 cam? If so there really good times! The 60 foot times arent bad at all, if your using street tires there actually pretty good! Yep lower them 60's to a 1.8 and your in the 13's

i ran a 13.6 last year on street tires with a 2.1 60 ft, pretty much no traction all of second gear, how much lower u guys think my ET would go down if i droped my 60 ft?

General rule of thumb is 0.2 off the 1/4 for every 0.1 seconds off the 60'. A good hooking 5.0 should do a 1.6-1.7 60'. Almost a second off if your car REALLY launches (you might yank a wheel with a 1.6).

Green, are you still using E5 heads? Great times if you are.

I keep getting 2.3's on average... Maybe I'm throttle happy or something, thing will spin like a mofo no matter what I do...

yes, still running E5 heads but with just a 3 angle valve job, there is a bigger cam in my motor (well suppose to be) i never ever noticed a diffrence in it, he might of even put the stock cam back in the engine. also my reaction times are almost a full second off. around 0.843, all 6 runs.

3.73 gears, also i got a pretty good grind when i shift into second gear, i have to ram it it gear, and i am not power shifting, just shifting regular, one more thing, this is pretty much my first time at the track too, i was there about 4 years ago And only made one pass.

Reaction has no effect on ET. The trans shouldn't grind 2nd, no matter how hard you're shifting. Try changing the fluid, or just get a new T5.

ya, i need a new second gear synconizer, probally do that this winter. i might see if i can borrow my friends slicks, and try them, i want to get into the 13,s (well try pretty hard to anyway) also will my 7.5 inch rearend hold up using slicks or will it break. thanks.
