Can anybody tell me how to restore these? I remember seeing a link with instuctions, but I cant find it.

def gonna be doin that. Would it make sense to leave the windows on the car and do it? Im gonna be repainting the car soon after I fix all these little probs up.

Ramrod....that's what I'm thinkin about, I'm getting my car painted sometime this year so I wouldn't care if I scratched it a little. I could probably do a better job with them off the car, so I might go to the junk yard and get a set in decent shape and fix/practice them.

good point. I might be paintin my car black, in which case Id paint em all at once. Otherwise ill have to improvise.

I grinded mine down a little bit, smeared some body work all the way down, sanded it flat, and it turned out alot better than a deteriorated peice of crap molding, i lost that line that goes down the molding, but who cares

I definitely need to paint my trim as well. I plan on leaving my windows in. Instead of going through all of the wet sanding, could you just use sand paper? If so, what size?
