I'm finally getting the 1.7 KB kit.as most of you know , i'm way too far from a dyno. So im gonna have to stick with KB's(Tune), that comes with the kit.
Is anyone else using their tune?? how does it work for you guys?
are you happy with their tune?
Kenne Bells tune should work out for you just fine, but you won't get the most out of it with out the dyno tune, plus that every car is a little bit different in small ways.
I still run the stock tune w/ no problems. Just be careful driving around. Always listen for pinging and I wouldn't recommend going WOT in 5th at 45mph.
Sorry to jack your post, but I plan to add a KB one of these days... Where did you get it, and how much? Also, what all gets replace with the KB? just upper/lower intake?

Use the money you would have spent on a custom tune to put towards a wideband o2. I can not emphesize enough what that peace of mind is worth knowing you aren't running lean. Then if you have problems with the KB tune you will know and can let them make adjustments to it so that you maintain your warranty.
BTW, I run a copy of KB's tune with my saleen sc and the tune is solid. I had to make very few adjustments to it. Now it is a little conservative though, their tune commands 11.0 a/f ratio at WOT, so you'd could probably get by with and make a bit more power running 11.5 or 12.
