dumb question ( sorry ) :

will fms 1.7 rockers clear factory 95 gt valve covers no matter what type of head?
or is there even a physical size difference between 1.6's and 1.7's?

thanks

I'm about to find out first hand if 1.7 RRs will fit under stock valve covers. I've heard you have to "massage" the baffle in the underside of the covers. In the next couple weeks I'll be installed Proform 1.7 RRs on my car. I know, I know - Proforms!?!?!? Well, I had already won a new set on ebay before I read about some of the issues. I'll give them a shot and if they break and take the stock heads with them then meh, it's an excuse to upgrade

maybe i can get my budget 306 together about the time your 347 gets done. we could probably just work out some sort of even trade after that

just kiddin'

good luck with it. post up some pics during the build

It is possible the bits of exploded rocker could fall down in the motor
