Ok I feel dumb posting this.. hopefully someone can slap some sense into me..
So I have a decent sized cam in my stroker motor, I forget specs.. however, the lift/duration are decent i'm guessing, as every video I watch where someone is adjusting their rockers, both rockers are moving within about a half turn to maybe 3/4 turn of the crank.. on mine, when the intake opens/closes, and I wait for the exhaust to go, I literally have to turn the motor like 3 or 4 turns.. wtf?
I followed the normal procedure before.. adjusting opposite side rocker when the exhaust is just opening, I adjust the intake.. to be sure it's on the base circle..
Then once that's done, soon as the intake closes, I do the exhaust.
Is that right? I'm doing 1/2 turn.
I did this prior, going off a video by freeloader700 on youtube.. and the car ran pretty good.. aside from maybe a touch of noise, but i'll attribute that to my old worn rockers and lifters..
Just wanna be sure so I don't do anything wrong with new expensive stuff all over my valvetrain.. thanks.
