... you'll have a headache whenever you drive your car.

yeah and not only that you might as well just put a sign in your back windshiled that says... PLEASE PULL ME OVER FOR EXCESSIVE NOISE. 1 Chamber flows are asking for nothing but trouble from cops. I have a hard enough time dealing w/ 2 chamber flows w/ an O/R H Pipe.

I know the superloudness isn't for everyone but damn, I didn't think there would be this many naysayers. I'm doing em. I have MAC Longtubes with their Pro-Chamber pipe flowing into a 2 chamber flowmaster cat back. I'm sick of sound like everyother damn stang in my town (don't get me wrong i love the sound but i want to put a different tone on mine). I got a set of 1 chambers cheap so I'm going for it. If i don't like the sound then, I'm going to try chambered tubes. We'll see.

The only problem I see with the 1 chambers (noise isn't a problem...its a pleasure.) is the center inlets and outlets on the mufflers themselves as opposed to the offset inlets and outlets of the "rest of the mustang mufflers". The may not line up with the tailpipes but you're running dumps so I don't think this will hurt anything. The muffler cases are way shorter than most mufflers to any shop can probably place them where they need to be to for very little cost. just make sure they don't pinch of the tubing routing all this stuff.

I wouldn't put them on a street car, just do HCI and make it loud that way. Kinda ricey to make your car sound like a top fuel dragster without the power to back it up. From the cars i've heard sporting 1 chambers, they sound kinda like an old pickup until you're flooring it (which does send shivers down my spine lol). I personally wouldn't go with them, but thats just me. Good luck...

Having a rediculous exhaust note and not much power to back it up is a little ricey, but my stang isnt super fast but it sounds awesome (to me anyway.) When my friends, who drive pretty ricy cars, ask me why I dont put a system in mine, I just rev it and tell them thats all the music I need to hear. Especially in the summer with the windows down, cruisin around is a pure pleasure. I vote for the 1 chambers... I'm currently running hi flow cats into 2 chambers, but I'm puttin on an o/r X this summer, and I'm only puttin like 225-230 hp onto the ground. my .02.

I've got an X w/cats and 2 chamber flows and it's pretty loud overall (just tolerable enough for everyday driving and highway driving). I'm sure if I didn't have cats then the sound would be much louder. All I know is that mine is way louder than stock and from what I've seen/heard, I rarely ever hear another stang with an X. Now that I have the X and have gotten used to the sound, I can easily pick out stangs that still have the stock H-pipe but upgraded mufflers.

There are lots of mufflers to choose from. If I wanted louder AND something different from most stangers, I'd go for the X without cats and a Bassani catback. Check out some exhaust audio sites that have lots of demos. That helped me make my decision. I listen to the radio/CD a lot less lately. :D

Can't wait for warmer weather to finally drive with my windows down and enjoy my exhaust investment. :)

Side exits will cut your performance down by a little because it has to make a 90 degree turn before it exits. It won't make a huge difference or anything, but for some people every little bit counts. I've never really seen where you can buy 1 chamber flowmasters? They don't advertise them on their site nor have I ever seen them in summit.

Actually summit does sell them better pick up a catalog and check again, same thing with the website. The good thing about the 1 chambers is that there isn't much drone like the 2 chambers. I had a pair of 1 chambers from mustangs unlimited on my 95 one time and they were 3" but they had the offset inlet especially for mustangs and they were just a little shorter than 2 chambers and didn't have that so called old pickup sound which i don't think they sound like anyways.
