Does anyone know or tried to fit a tfs track heat intake with 1 inch spacer under a stock hood? Would cutting into the hood supports give the added clearance?

not sure if there is a size difference between that & an explorer intake but, I had a 1" spacer on mine & the stock hood would rub on the TPS & the tube on the TB that runs over to the passenger VC just a little.

I had a cobra intake with a 1 inch spacer and the hood would close. However after drivin it a little it put a small dent in my hood from the engine roll when u hit the gas. Where my intake hit it would not have helped to cut the hood bracing. Hope this helps and good luck.
