1" sway bar question ??

I just added this today. It came from Mustangs Unltd. I mounted it as far rear-ward as possible given the size of the mounting plate on a '65. The problem is that the end links are not vertical from the lower control arm. In the picture, you can see how they are angled (although it is somewhat exaggerated by the angle I took the pic from). What can I do, or is this OK ? Thanks for any help !

The length of the sleeve in the end link kit is responsible for the relationship between the sway bar and the lower arm. The mounting points should not be at an angle but parallel to each other while the car is at rest. Cutting the sleeve or adding washers works for me. Sometimes the bolt has to be replaced with a longer or shorter one.

It looks like a shorter sleeve would help with your end link kit.
