10.5's with Baer

It's official 10.5 deep dish bullits dont fit the 13" rear baer brake kit They go on a little ways but as the wheel tapers toward the front the calipers hits the side of the wheel. So my question is should or could i buy wheel spacers to bump out the hub mounting surface so the calipers wont hit ( the gap where they sart to hit is not big maybe 3/4" from the back of wheel to current axle surface) Is this safe for drag racing, which i would be doing a good bit of? Any other suggestions (and i dont want to take off and switch my rotors)
