Is the Cobra intake separate from the $1000? If so, then I would put the 1k towards a set of TFS T/W heads which are about $1100. If part of the 1 grand is used to buy the intake then you should have about $400-$600 left depending on where u get the intake. With what's left you can get a N2O kit and a CAI.

For power, heads without a doubt.

But for looks/feel, I would say a steeda shifter, drop springs & shocks/struts, and a kickin stereo system.

You got a heavy Vert so torque is so helpful.

I agree with you on an intake. If your looking for 300 or better to the wheels I would move up to a TFS or Edel if you ask me.

Besides the intake I'd go for the improved torque of lt's and sell your shorty mid pipe to convert to the lt mid pipe.

As others have said, heads will made the big difference.

What ever you do ......... think about your long term goals so you don't buy the wrong stuff the first time.

Heads! You have a nice chunk of cash on your hands, don't nickel & dime it away on a bunch of cheaper parts.

Go with some afr's or tw's if you can save for an intake in the near future.

If not, go with some GT-40's, and a cobra intake.
