I hit the link figuring someone had put two 550cid V8s together into a V16. WOW that thing is big!

Never knew the Shermans used gasonline engines, most tanks back then were diesel. No wonder the crews called them Ronsons!

Are those frame rails solid steel? ha ha, You my need a out rigger to keep the car from rolling over when this thing starts to spin. Very nice work. What does the engine weigh and what kind of tranny will hook to this?

the engine weights 960lbs i believe..its all aluminium. It weights just a bit more than a FE motor or a hemi

We were at the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, CA a few weeks ago and there was a VERY high end roadster their with an aftermarket engine with 1200 cubic inchs and 900 horsepower, and that was in a ~ 2,000 lb vehicle.

What kind of torque? Any power adders? Just think what this thing would do with some boost! Still curious what tranny you plan to bolt to this thing. Sherman M4A3 at what? 35 tons, and this car at maybe 3500 lbs. I like it! Thats all Madden. Don't think the "SB's all under the hood" would have the same shock effect. Kinda like a kitten and a pissed off lion.
