i want to get welds magnum drag wheels and i was wondering if i would be able to fit 12's on the rear on my 88 lx fox with a five lug conversion and if i could what tires would i be able to fit them on

Your first question to yourself should be, why in gods name would you want to do something like that? Aside from looking completely retarded, unless you have the horsepower to make use of them (which you don't) you'll seriously hurt your performance.

EDIT
Nevermind....I thought you were talking about width, but I now realize you're talking about height...so disregard the above statement. In which case you need to ask yourself, why in gods name would you want to do something like that?

Yeah, I am not too sure if you could fit brakes in 12" diameter wheels, especially if you have disc rears. I'm with Gearbanger. Hopefully there is function over form in this case.......
Now if you are talking width........again, function over form is the question......

If your talkin width theres no way 12's would fit I have 11s and they JUST barely clear the exhaust and I had to take down the lip in the fenderwell to clear the other side.

12" width, no way with out mad spacers.
12" diameter. No way, they will hit the brakes. 14" wheels won't even fit the over V8 calipers and rotors. 14" will fit the drum rear, so will 13"s. 12" won't fit, the 13" I had on the drum rear brakes JUST BARELY cleared.

14" wheels won't even fit the over V8 calipers and rotors.

Sounds like you're talking about the front wheels...in which case you're right. But over the rear where he wants them they will clear the stock drum brakes with no problems. But I still see no reason to to with anything smaller than 15" wheels. There are guys running 10's on 15" wheels and 9.5" tires....so unless you're making 600....even 700+hp, there's no reason to go with such a big tire and/or wheel combination. It might just be time for some driving lessons instead. ;)
