how much does a new 2v PI engine cost? I wouldn't think it's too far from 1500.
If your engine has low miles and hasn't been driven too hard, I would put that money towards a KB.. there isn't much difference in the power a PI and a non-PI car makes with the KB.

gears are a good choice and will get down by everyone eventually. But I think the PI swap is the best bang for the buck! your going to get @50rwhp from this swap. And it is not that difficult to do. Many how to's and instructions online if you do it yourself. Don't be scared away. Its the best thing i ever did to my 96, was like a whole new car!
