15.3 doesn't sound right

I have had my car weighrd 2 times....once at the dump with 3/4 tank of gas and some crap in the back seat.....spare tire and jack and everything=3200


I weighed it at our local circle track (I'm on a pit crew for the season champ) and with 3/4 tank of gas and spare and jack in and the crap out of the back me out of the car it was 3208....with me in at the time it was 3390
 
I think the point the original poster was getting at, was that when he looks for documents stating what the car was rated to run, such as Car and driver and motortrend, that they list the car as 15.3

Magazines are always slower.
Example one ran a 13.2 with the new shelby and evan smith ran a 12.2. (bone stock).
