Can anyone offer suggestions of which stang wheels in the 15 ' size will clear the rear calipers on a 2000 GT? I need a set to mout up some slicks. ...and what size slicks?

Not sure what size slicks you'll want, but the V6 wheels work great for drag-radials and slicks. I got a pair off of ebay for about $70-shipped. I could have gotten a pair of brand new steel wheels from Summit, but the V6 wheels are aluminum and save a little weight.
Mine are the ugly tri-spoke ones, but for the price they'll work as track wheels.
i agree 15" v-6'er rims are good and cheap, you may want to check your local junkyards first, then if no luck, find a pair from e-bay or a message board.
