Has any one ever driven a very long distance on skinnies?? I'm getting the stang ready for the long trip (about 10 hrs straight) out of Fl to SC. But with the stang filled to the brim with my crap, and I'm not sure how safe it would be to make the journey running the skinnies. I'm actaull think of reselling them before I go and temporarly keep the chrome peeling waffels (really hate tho) that are going to need tires soon. I'd be hard pressed to find a spot for the skinnies in the car and just use the waffels up front until I reach my destination. Has anyone heard/know of some one/any one who's done with no problems?

Yup I'll be in N. Charleston Feb 12/13 and I can't wait to leave S Fl. What really sucks is I just heard some chirping coming from the tranny. I think it's time for yet another TOB and upgrade clutch while there. So it looks like I'm pretty much being pushed to sell the rims . Charleston > rims

worst for worse couldnt you run the waffles for the trip and mail yourself the fronts? I know its kinda funky but the hassle of selling them in a hurry and price your gonna take a beating on that way then buying new or whatever ones...you would prob end up alittle ahead by shipping them to yourself.

UPS/DHL/FedEx may work

Greyhound bus lines also ships and its preaty cheap...you just have to go to the bus station to pick them up though. Would be a cheap way to do it if there is a station near your new place/area.

I thought about shipping the set or just the fronts too. But now the tranny has given off a few chirps the past two days, indicatinng the TOB maybe going. Also the guy I purchased the rims from is considering buying them back so I'll break even and have enough for a new TOB and clutch upgrade. I have alot to think about and fast
