My 2001 Mustang GT vert currently has the standard 17" black wall tires.

I would really like to find some nice looking 17" white lettered tires, preferably that have something nice for wording like Super Sport or something similar.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a place that sells white lettered 17": tires and that would ship to Puerto Rico?
Thanks :)

Steve

There was a thread on this site about the tire markers....the end result wasn't good. Apparently they were a PITA to keep white and it didn't look that great anyways.

Don;t take this the wrong way or anything, but i think you have more than enough lettering on your car.

I would have to agree, its too cluttered.

White lettered tires IMO are for old school muscle or trucks. My truck for instance has white lettered tires but my Mustang never will.

My dad and I had a disagreement over this when I got new tires. He asked me if I was going to get white lettered tires and I replied that they are for muscle cars, not modern sports cars. His reply was that Mustangs are muscle cars. This coming from the man I learned all I know of about real muscle car. Oh the humanity and the shame. :hide:

Really the only MODERN Mustangs that can be considered Muscle cars are the Cobras, Shelbys, Machs etc. But ALL MUSTANGS are classified as PONY CARS (no pun intended even though the original Mustangs and Barracudas are the reason why there is even a class of cars called pony cars). In my opinion you cant really call a GT a muscle car unless you have it putting down over 400hp lol.

EDIT: Wolvrin704 I can see how you dad views modern Mustangs as muscle cars even though they techniqually are not. Its a common error. Although my dad LOVES my car and LOVES to drive it even more. Whenever he goes to the store for cigarettes hes always trying to burn my ass by saying stuff like "ok well im gonna take the muscle car to the store real quick! the fake one!". But of course this is coming from a man who owned countless oldschool mustangs, dodge challengers, plymouth dusters, cudas etc! So in his eyes these newer cars can't even compare. haha.
