Pic of 17's on my 67

This past weekend I got a set of 17x8 Torq thrust II's with 235/45 tires. I'm pretty happy with the setup. 16's might have been a little better but I had 16's on my car and they didn't clear the BAER setup. Anyway, let me know what you guys think.

You've got some coil springs to cut...
Nice looking rims though

It looks good right now but with better stance it will be awesome. 17's look just about right on the 67+. You just can't beat the torq thrust.

You're off to a great start! Nail the stance and you'll have 1 mean coupe...

i have a 68 coupe and will be running the same setup, 17 inch TT2, you guys are saying nail the stance. Would a set of 620 drop springs up front do it? also what rear leaf should i run. but that coupe looks great with them on there.

I put flex-a-form leafs in the back. I'm running the stock setup in the front. I haven't researched on what springs to get so i've been holding back from buying anything.

How do you like the flex-aforms? Heaps of guys on here have been waiting with baited breath for a decent review of their performance!

To tell you the truth I don't think i'm experienced enough to give the flex-a-forms a decent review. This is my first project car. I basically went from the stock (old) leaf springs to the composits.
Yes its a big improvement but since i've never experienced what NEW 4/5 leaf springs feel like i woudln't be able to compare them accurately.

Compare the feel of the rear end to a modern car then?

The 620 springs will drop the front about 1" (or may have no effect at all if your original springs are sagging)...if you do the Shelby UCA relocation that'll drop you another 1/4"...that's what I've done so far but for my taste it's still not low enough. I'm going to cut 1/2 coil to drop another inch...I'll post before and after pics if you want.
