When my Nitto's wear out I'm moving up to the 315 Goodyear DS3's which are more than a full inch wider than the Nitto 315's. For those to fit I'll need the button head bolt, a 3/8 inch spacer, and extended reach lugs.

Just wondering why you decided to go with 1 inch spacers is all?

I wanted to be sure the wheels would fit, so I went ahead and got the 1" spacers. Some Cobra owners had complained about alignment being such that one IRS bolt touched and the other didn't. I wasn't sure what to expect, so I got the 1" spacer (smallest available of the typ I purchased). Maximum Motorsports sells a new 1/2" hubcentric spacer that simply requires longer studs, and it would have worked, but I would have had to remove the rotors and do some more work. I plan on running these wheels on the street. Once the Nittos wear out, I'll go to the F1 GS-D3s too. Then I'll definitely need these spacers, that or button head or shaved bolts and a smaller spacer. I am going to probably mount BFG 275/40-17s on the extra pair of 17x9 rims I have and run them (without spacers) at the strip. These nittos won't last me 5 months anyway probably.

I talked to several guys over on svtperformance like Torch Red 10th who run the 1" spacer. They all had no problems with them. Torch Red 10th even said one of his friends autocrossed with the spacers. The new hubcentric 1/2" spacer from MM is probably the only spacer that simply requires longer studs that I would use. The spacer I have now of course has the second set of studs and is very easy to take off and put on.

I really like the quality of the rims I got. They are pretty well matched to the stock wheels (after I cleaned them). You shouldn't have any fitment issues with a GT axle. I bought the wheels with the tires from tires.com. I ordered Monday at lunch and they showed up at the house at 10:18AM on Wednesday. I bought the torque wrench at Sears for $80 or $90. Well worth it to make sure my wheels stay on while I am going down the road. Also, if you buy a torque wrench, remember to set it back to the stop or 0 ft-lb setting before you put it away.

If you order wheels and tires, they will mount them for free. I ordered over the phone. It only took me maybe 5 minutes to seal the deal. If you order through the internet, processing time may be longer (that is what I was told). I only bought the two nittos and rims.

My car is a daily driver too, so I am just going to let these wear down and then put street tires on the 10.5" rims. I'll put some BFG drag radials on the 17x9 rims for drag racing, probably.
