17x9 , 17x10.5 on daily driver?

This question is for those using 17x9'\ 17x10.5 wheels on daily driving GT's. I want to pick up some wheels soon, but I'm worried since the GT is my daily driver, I will go through tires too fast. I drive 40 miles each way to work totaling over 400 miles per week. Given you can't perform a proper tire rotation, I'm not sure I shouldn't stick with 17x9's all around until I have a secondary vehicle for work purposes.

I havn't noticed any odd tire wear with my 17x9 and 17x10.5s

I probly drive more than you everyday and love them so far, haven't had a single problem other than slight drift when road slants one way, but that expected with friggin huge tires.... Plus who cares, they look MEAN!

How often is often if you drive normal for those 40 miles each way - meaning how many miles would you get from the rear rubber?

I just bought my 17x9 and 10.5 w/ nitto 315 D/R on the back. I think about the normal mileage out of the nitto d/r is aound 15k miles. I drive a good bit too but man its worth it to see those big a$s tires on the back! And the act fine in the rain also . I say go for it

Anyone have pictures of thier car with the 315s? Do the stick out? Rub? Etc... I'll go out and buy them tomorrow if they look right.. I calculated a max. width of 285 for the rears...

lol... what wheels are you getting?

i bought my bullitts from wheelreplicas.com for $639... thats for the black or anthricite... i got them 3 days ago accept one of the wheels was severly scratched, it looked like someone took a knife 2 it or something... called them up and they said "send it back theres another on the way" great service!

Same setup as Deadlurker, but mine's lowered a bit more.

I have a full set of 18's that should be ready to go by Monday or Tuesday. 18x9 with 265/35 front and 18x10 with 295/35 rear. I'll put pics up in 4.6L Talk and Sound & Shine.

to post a picture you need to add image tags like this

you cant post pictures off of your harddrive they need to be hosted on a website.

I love my deep dish bullitts w/ the nitto 315's no rubbing or anything. Ive only had them for 2 days but man the compliments are awesome. Wheels and tires I have close to $1400 in the set up.
