What 18" tires sizes are you guys running to give a little more sidewall. I have 18x9" DD bullits with 265/35's on all four corners. It looks great but looks like I can stick a bit more tire in the rear. They kinda look skinny too, the front not so bad but maybe I could shoot for a 255/40 up front and a 275/40 in the rear? If anyone has some advice or pics I would greatly appreciate it.

* i dont know what happened there

I believe 275/30's are the widest you can fit on a 9inch wheel

i have 275/35/18 on my 18x9 fr500 front wheels. 275/40 would be way too much sidewall.

275/35 will be closest to stock diameter size.

One thing you must keep in mind if running staggered Deep Dish Bullitt Wheels and tires you don't want to run the same profile in the front and rear. The only exception would be sizes that are extremely close together regarding width, which generally isn't the case.

If you are running standard staggered drag look with 18X9 & 18X10 Bullitt wheels you might consider a 255/40ZR/18 in the front and a 285/35/18 in the rear. This is a very common setup for performance Mustangs.

If you are looking for performance but want to save some money, keep in mind tire sizes will be a factor. In that case I would recommend a 245/40ZR/18 in the front and a 275/35ZR/18 in the rear. The reason I stagger the tires in this manner is because both of these tire combinations have almost identical diameters in both the front and back. Thus, your car will sit respectfully level so to speak, rather than be sitting like a slight wedge one way or the other. This is not generally the look folks are going for but if it is you would want to be taller in the front and not the back for the best look.

Now if you are running the same size rim in both the front and rear I would recommend going up to a 275 series as some here have suggested. 18X9 Bullitt wheels fit very well with a 275/35ZR/18 in both the front and back. This tire is very close to your oem 26" tire diameter as well. I think its just a little short, but all-in-all its very close. The 2003-2004 Cobra run 275 series tires all the way around on 9" rims, so its a great performance set up and you will be able to rotate your tires front to back for extended tread life...
